Clicker collection - will look different at each building. Buildings will decide how to do it.
Clicker maintenance - ideally, batteries will be removed at collection time. East model (clickers in bags, students take batteries out - will be buying screwdrivers). Keep clickers in hands of students as long as possible.
For cleaning - Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Goo Gone, rubbing alcohol

Budget - $6.12 per pupil ($3.06 for K) Media budget based on a formula of projected population that is set in spring of the year before.
District tech money is variable from year to year - will know by end of year if we have
More work will be done on this as we proceed with our Media program review process
Let's document where our budget allocations come from - budget line item numbers, etc., funding history, look at curriculum review areas and how we've supported that.

Requests for subscriptions - process is to work toward alignment and to ensure that it will fit into big picture of district initiative. Lots of discussion about process. Wonder how the role of Media can fit into it?

Burning Questions -
Destiny email - check and see if emails get updated regularly in Skyward download
ideas for Jim for HS overdues

District-Wide Databases Brainstorming - think about 1:1 ramifications and use
Country Reports - perhaps a cheaper alternative than Culture Grams, US edition extra ($82 per building)
Online Encyclopedia - Could we reconsider World Book? Print encyclopedias are sometimes available through HCL
True Flix - good nonfiction online books with multimedia, Book Flix pairs fiction and nonfiction
Gale Opposing Viewpoints - more HS expensive, available through HCL, but would be great to have subscription
Image Database - any ideas?
Royalty free music - maybe better to compile sites rather than find a database
ProQuest SIRS - HS currently has, would work 6-12
EBSCO History - HS currently has, is used by MS too
Tumblebooks, Pebble Go, and other book publisher products
What about ebook checkout system (like Overdrive) for fiction and popular titles? How would that work for our district? Books purchased at district level? How might this work?
Study Island
Khan Acadamy
Brain Pop - teachers would love it - iPad app for it

K @ CMS
Why can't PCK supply books for these students
Perhaps the person hired for .2 could have position expanded to cover this and work on transfer of books, too?
